I work in an Urgent Care in Atmore, Alabama. We see routine UC patients with some primary Care mixed in.

We offer physicals such as: preemployment, sports/ school, and DOT. We suture, offer in house xray, order labs pelvic exams, etc. we see whatever walks through the door. It is a NP ran UC with close contact with collaborating physician.

As a Pre-Anesthesia Testing Provider, I provide comprehensive preoperative screening and assessment to promote patient safety and optimize perioperative outcomes.

My role includes conducting detailed preoperative evaluations, reviewing complex medical histories, interpreting diagnostic testing and laboratory data, and identifying opportunities for risk stratification and medical optimization prior to surgery. I work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing teams, and other multidisciplinary providers to ensure coordinated, evidence-based, and patient-centered care across the perioperative continuum.

The practice setting is an outpatient psychiatric mental health clinic providing comprehensive behavioral health services across the lifespan. Services include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, brief psychotherapy, and care coordination. The clinic primarily serves adults with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD), and neurocognitive disorders. Care is delivered by a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in collaboration with primary care providers, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members as needed. Accepting students who are eager to learn and passionate about quality healthcare to an underserved population. We see all ages however there is a separate pediatric clinic at a different location, so the majority of children are generally seen there. We perform POC labs as well as a hospital which provides lab, xray, and other diagnostic services.

We are a small, warm, family-style private practice in a vibrant, diverse community southwest of Seattle. We see patients of all ages & genders. Our volume is low enough to allow for a deep collaboration with our NP students & time to really get to know our patients & their stories. We provide a high level of quality care while satisfying our patients' desires for consistency in their care, & for the learners we teach to have time to understand the basis for the care we provide.

Many of our patients speak Spanish & we require at least a familiarity with the language in our students. We work best with students who have had some job experience & have finished their Basic Science introductory work.

I excel at diagnosing and treating an array of conditions, disease and illness prevention and educating patients and family members to ensure optimal ongoing care. I have the knowledge and skills to translate research, facilitate quality improvement and cost-effective care to improve patient outcomes. I can work both independently and as a cooperative team member, as well as manage other employees.
