Happy Nurse Practitioner Week!!!

This week we celebrate our profession as it continues to grow and serve the children of the world! Washington State NP's are lucky to practice in such a state in which independant practice is allowed and fostered. While there are still barriers to independance for some (mainly in terms of where you practice) and there are always jobs in which collaboration is key to success; we continue to show our strength and wisdom in our everyday work. We have great knowledge in many areas, but we also know when to refer, know when to say "I don't know, but I'll find out", and continue to make strides into areas such as critical care or even managing/owning a Nurse Practitioner run clinic. Kudos to everyone for all their efforts!
