VotER - Health Care Based Voter Registration

With the presidential election less than 40 days away, the WA State Chapter of NAPNAP legislative team is promoting civic engagement through healthcare via the online voter registration platform called VotER. VotER is a non-partisan nonprofit organization that is focused on providing patients the opportunity to register to vote. As COVID-19 has highlighted, policy can have an immense impact on health and our healthcare systems. VotER aims to empower those most hurt by the healthcare system to fix it by inviting patients and their families into the democratic process.

VotER has created free Healthy Democracy Kits for healthcare providers which can be personalized to your institution or clinic. Each kit contains downloadable posters and badge backers with a link via QR code and texting code that will connect patient families to an easy online voter registration process in both English and Spanish. Registration takes less than 90 seconds and can be completed on the patient or family's personal phone.

As providers it's our role to advocate for patients and that means, during this election cycle, making it safe and healthy for all to participate in the November election by getting families registered to vote!
