Lobby Day January 29, 2020: Hosted by the ARNPs United of Washington State

Posted over 5 years ago by Karen Kilian

As we welcome the snowfall, today your WA state NAPNAP advocacy team welcomes the opening day of the WA legislative short session. This years short session began on Jan 13th and will continue for 60 days.

One of our main priorities will be to continue our support of ARNPs United proposed legislation (HB 1433/SB 5647) relating to requiring health insurance payment parity for advanced registered nurse practitioners. Please find further information on these bills from last years legislative updates found under the legislative meeting minutes tab on our ENP network site. New updates with this years priorities coming soon!

As the WA state chapter of NAPNAP does not host our own advocacy day we ask you to join us on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020 for the ARNPs United of Washington State Lobby Day from 9 am-330pm. Advocacy preparation and legislate update will be presented from 9 am-1115am at the Waterstreet Cafe in Olympia before meeting with your local legislators in the afternoon. Appointments will be prearranged by ARNPs United staff!

Use this link to register now: https://forms.gle/VwDzKTiVg9yDmsGn6 .  Lobby day is free for all ARNPs! For more information please visit ARNPs United of Washington State ENP website. More advocacy resources can be found on the National website at https://www.napnap.org/advocacy-center

We hope to see you in Olympia on January 29th to speak up for Washington State children!
