Legislative Alert for SHB 2264 ARNP

We need your help! We are promoting SHB 2264 which requires hospitals to request certain information from any advanced registered nurse practitioner or physician assistant prior to granting or renewing clinical privileges or association with the hospital. This bill is a technical fix to assure ARNPs and PAs are credentialed using the same process as is used for physicians.
The bill was passed by the House Health Care and Wellness Committee and is now in Rules Committee which must send it to the full House of Representatives for a vote by February 14.
If you are represented by a member of the Rules Committee, please contact your representative as soon as possible and ask to have SHB 2264 pulled from committee for a vote by the House.
