The University of Washington, School of Nursing is currently seeking an individual for the position of Lecturer, part-time, competitive recruitment (0140) in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program. This top-ranked, established program resides in the Department of Family and Child Nursing within the School of Nursing. A seasoned and collaborative faculty work together with a network of pediatric preceptors in clinical practice sites throughout the Puget Sound and greater Washington State in both urban and rural settings.

This position primarily includes teaching responsibilities for graduate PNP courses as well as coordination of PNP student clinical placements (under the direction and support of the PNP track lead). Other graduate and undergraduate program teaching responsibilities may also be possible. In addition to teaching, the faculty participates in advisory student committee roles, connected teaching and program building with the PNP faculty team.

This role is a non-tenured position. FTE is negotiable, with 50% or greater preferred. Anticipated start date is 12/16/16 for Winter Quarter.  Appointment type is multi-year.  Salary will depend on qualifications which include:

Master's degree required, DNP preparation strongly preferred
Current board certification as a PNP
Position contingent on ARNP licensure in WA State
3 years of clinical practice as a PNP preferred
Dual certified (Primary and Acute Care) PNPs are encouraged to apply
