Position Description

Providence Medical Group is seeking a Per Diem Pediatrics nurse practitioner to provide coverage at the Centralia Hospital.

  • Per Diem role looking for Nurse Practitioner in the area with a WA license.
  • The call can be from home, but they have to be available to make it to the hospital within 30 min of the call.
  • They generally only keep the babies for a couple days at the hospital.
  • Our nursery is only open for newborn stabilization and preparation to transport to a higher level of care hospital.
  • typically only have 2-4 babies in the birthing unit at a time- it's not very big
  • We have a level 1 nursery. We keep babies that are 35 weeks gestation and greater.
  • We also operate on a LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum) model. The babies stay with the mom if they are stable.
  • Compensation is between $59.93 and $79.59 per hour

Centralia is a semi-rural community of 16,000 in scenic southwest Washington. The area features a mix of farmland and timberland threaded by a number of revered salmon and steelhead rivers, ideal for outdoor recreation. Property with acreage is still relatively affordable in Lewis County, and there is no state income tax in Washington.
