Come join us for our first in person CE event since before COVID! We will have two speakers presenting on topics that apply to a wide array of nurse practitioners: legal practice issues related to ARNPs and independent practice. See below for speaker bios:

Amber Zupancic-Albin, JD, BSN currently practices as a health law attorney at Zupancic Albin Law, P.C. in Portland, Oregon. With her background in nursing, she provides legal counsel on topics such as ACA, HIPAA, and Medicare/Medicaid. Dr. Zupancic-Albin also provides advice on general healthcare practice including contracting, employment agreements, and risk mitigation. Her presentation will focus on aspects related to the intersection of advanced practice nursing and legal topics that affect the field.

Natasha Wills, DNP, ARNP, CPNP-PC is a pediatric nurse practitioner working at Premier Pediatrics in Issaquah, WA. She specializes in managing behavioral and mental health concerns in children and adolescents with a passion for providing care for individuals with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Dr. Wills will be presenting on the ins and outs of private practice.

Rachel VanDeMark, DNP, MHA, ARNP, CPNP-PC, is the current Washington NAPNPAP Legislative Chair. She practices in pediatric primary care and has a background in healthcare quality and safety. Her interests include reducing vaccine preventable illness through immunization and improving access to care for all children. She will share manageable ways to advocate for children’s health and wellness at the local, state and national level.

Food will be included and there will be opportunities during the event to network with other pediatric nurse practitioners!
